Happy vegetables: How is this an analogy (with a secret gift)?

When brainstorming – there are no bad ideas! So, when we discussed our June newsletter, I asked: “What’s fresh?”

Then I listened, and took note. One answer was – straightforwardly: veggies.

Veggies are healthy, they’re fresh, they’re the gift of the earth.

Top Left Design focuses on:

  1. Stress-free experiences and less time-wasting – efficient communication gives clients an easy and smooth experience with their projects.
  2. New fresh ideas
  3. A gift of more than you thought – the intangible extras that come with each website project: clarity of why your business exists, a new found confidence in sharing your story and values, an end to “embarrassing website shame”

You see where I am going with this?

So we took it further. Tam, Amy, Candice and Keren each chose a vegetable.

Tam created the illustration above.

They sustain us, and make our brains function.

We can thank vegetables for some of our best design and development work!

Who chose which vegetable?

Ahh – we’re bursting to tell you! And bursting with freshness!

Keren chose Tomato: Why? Juicy and versatile, like a well-crafted website. It adapts to different contexts, just as tomatoes enhance various dishes.

Amy chose Aubergine (Eggplant): A playful choice, for sure! Absorbs flavours (like a sponge) much like our team absorbs ideas and transforms them into delightful user experiences.

Tam chose Carrot: They have vitamin A, which is good for the eyes, so important for design! Carrots are used as bribes for the horses at the bottom of Tam’s garden

Candice chose Lettuce: The crisp foundation of a salad, akin to clean and order and clarity, which Candice loves. She also constantly tells us “lettuce” be mindful and healthy!

Let’s cultivate a garden of exceptional web designs together! 🌱
