At Top Left Design, we work with clients across a whole range of different sectors and see a range of different marketing skills that are unique to specific industries. This got us thinking – what if they could teach each other something?
Insight, advice, news and chit chat
Our client Dan is so amazing I can’t stop telling people about him! And, we have just launched his new website for his new company, Trader Training Hub – so we are super proud to share it with you.
Here’s why great working relationships increase productivity!
A lot of people are surprised that I watched Love Island. I was shown the show by my friend and client Matthew, and after one episode (somewhere in the middle of the series) I decided to “graft” and went onto ITV Hub to do some serious catchup. It took many hours, but I caught up on 23 episodes in one week, and then switched to “maintenance mode” keeping up with one episode a day. If I decide to do something I stick to it.
Look people, no man is an island – and savvy successful business people know the value of getting others to help you out!
We had a busy start to 2017 here at Top Left Design! Wouldn’t it be fun to take a look back on our press coverage highlights from the last few months? We’ve had 6 in total this year!
Have heard of SSL? What does it stand for? Sincere Sensual Love? Silent Sneaky Lothario? Sassy Silly Lullaby?
Close! Actually – it’s to do with the internet, websites, and security – and stands for Secure Sockets Layer.
In business (especially in a business like TLD, where we’re doing projects and services for our clients) you can plan your day/week/90 day goals all you like but every single day unexpected things will happen.
When I met Stuart and heard his story, I had to try his peanut butter. Luckily he had brought a jar with him to that BNI breakfast meeting! So I bought it off him.
Can you believe it, I have since met up with him twice to get 2 dozen jars, and given them to friends and family. People call it “Peanut Butter Crack”
I was interested by the story to begin with, and I promise you this peanut butter is AMAZING. Below – my interview with Stuart.
I just rejoined BNI, after taking a 2 year break. For those who don’t know, it’s a referral networking organisation, with each group having weekly breakfast meetings. I joined in 2002, did 12 years, then decided “that’s it for me” and left in 2014. but visiting a new group in 2016 got me re-enthused. I am now a member for over a year at BNI St Paul’s – so let me know if you want to visit!
