Should TLD do Pro Bono Websites?

Should we do pro bono websites?

Is it good practice for us to offer a completely free website? It’s not completely unheard of.
We have done a few “pro bono websites” over the years.
The project really has to appeal, and be for a good cause. Usually we choose a deserving charity.
We want to feel we are really helping people out. If we do this, it’s an investment of our time into somone’s idea, with the end goal of going far beyond us and them. We know we can bring a lot into something. What we never will do, if we commit to something, is take shortcuts. We clearly say what’s included and not included and we stick to this agreement, just like with our paid for websites.
It’s been a couple of years since we found a deserving project but in the meantime I wanted to ask, what do you think of this practice?
Take our quick poll or leave a comment and let us know what you think! Thanks for your help!
