What will you achieve in the last 3 months of 2023 What will you achieve in the last 3 months of 2023? 🤔

The year is divided into four quarters, and each quarter presents an opportunity to set new goals and evaluate progress.

Don't let the last quarter slip by without making the most of it! 💪

Here are 9 marketing ideas to help you finish the year strong:

1. Host an end-of-year or Xmas-themed event or sale to drive traffic to your store or website.

2. Review the year’s feedback and create content that showcases the positive reviews you’ve had this year.

3. Write down 6 criteria for a referral program you can launch soon or next year, to incentivise existing customers to bring in new business. Sooner is better!

4. Create a year-end review video highlighting your company's accomplishments and goals for the future.

5. Offer a limited-time promotion to encourage customers to make a purchase before the end of the year.

6. Collaborate with other small businesses in your community to cross-promote each other's products or services.

7. Send out an end-of-year-themed email newsletter to keep your audience engaged and informed.

8. Start planning for the new year by setting goals and creating a marketing strategy.

9. Use the end of the year to reflect on what worked and what didn't in your marketing efforts.

🐶❤️ Our client is a small family ski compan 🐶❤️ Our client is a small family ski company, Snowbizz, and also run a dog rescue charity called Starlight Barking (@starlightbarking). Tam designed this for Snowbizz for Facebook but we're sharing it here.

Snowbizz's (snowbizz_family_skiing) mission, aside from being an amazing family ski company, is to find travel companies to sponsor dog rescues in their destinations.

They’ve already had some amazing support, but need more.

This year, Snowbizz has been nominated for the British Travel Awards in two categories: Best Travel Company for Family Holidays and Best Travel Company for Ski/Wintersports Holidays.

We've been on 2 trips with Snowbizz as a team and we can say wholeheartedly the experience was amazing and they deserve to win, and on top of that, supporting them in this way means supporting Starlight Barking too!

Together, we can make a difference! 🙏❤️

Don't give me that attitude! When it comes Don't give me that attitude!

When it comes to marketing. you don't need to be perfect, you need an attitude of continuous improvement.

Another great one from James Clear landed in our inbox!

Here are some examples that push this thought just a little further. Hoping this changes your attitude to your life for the better!

😃 A positive attitude of perseverance, curiosity, and continuous improvement can help decision-makers overcome challenges, adapt to changes, and communicate effectively.

🙋 By embracing an attitude of training and learning, decision-makers can develop new skills and knowledge that can help them stay competitive and achieve their goals.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑Additionally, a positive attitude can inspire and motivate others, leading to a more productive and harmonious work environment.

Ultimately, having the right attitude can help you overcome all manner of obstacles and achieve success in your business endeavors!
We're fans of research! How else are we abl We're fans of research!

How else are we able to find out what attracts those ideal people to our client's websites? 🎯

Some clients don't have the resources for full research but we find, even a handful of conversations where you take people through the same few questions can give you useful insight!

Here's an angle you may not have considered. 🤔

Market research is all about finding patterns.

By identifying and analysing these patterns, you get a whole new level of insight into your target audience. And you can start with a data set of 5 or 10 clients! 👍

Here are 17 examples of patterns to pay attention to in your market research - don’t get overwhelmed - just pick a few that are relevant to you and get started!

Demographics (age, gender, income, education level, etc.)
Psychographics (values, beliefs, attitudes, lifestyle, personality, etc.)
Geographic location (urban, suburban, rural, region, country, etc.)
Purchase behavior (frequency, amount, product categories, etc.)
Psychometric testing (personality traits, cognitive abilities, etc.)
Needs and desires (functional, emotional, social, etc.)
Pain points and challenges (frustrations, obstacles, etc.)
Motivations and goals (aspirations, priorities, etc.)
Decision-making processes (influences, criteria, etc.)
Communication preferences (channels, tone, style, etc.)
Brand perceptions (awareness, image, reputation, etc.)
Customer satisfaction (experience, loyalty, advocacy, etc.)
Competitor analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, etc.)
Industry trends (innovations, disruptions, regulations, etc.)
Economic indicators (market size, growth rate, inflation, etc.)
Technological developments (tools, platforms, devices, etc.)
Social and cultural factors (norms, customs, traditions, etc.)

By putting in the work to understand your audience, you'll improve your brand image and connect with customers on a deeper level.

We met Steve Street through our friends at Go Live We met Steve Street through our friends at Go Live and together created a new brand and website for Ballintrae.

Like us, they work a lot in financial services, though most of their clients are Investment banks.

While we did this site a while ago, and Steve has since moved to other businesses, we’re still proud to show it in our portfolio.

We're proud of the work we do for clients especial We're proud of the work we do for clients especially Starlight Barking (@starlightbarking) who have enabled so many stray dogs to find their people.

Our designer Tam is in charge and personally adds new dogs to the Starlight Barking website so potential new doggy parents can see them.

Visit this site, and you will see that this website is a cut above most small charity websites.

Here's the link: www.starlightbarking.co.uk

And we created this with a LOT of love for the cause and for our client, Wendy Lyotier.

Check out the video and you'll see Keren talking about what this project means to us at TLD.
