We received the gift of animation
Our ideal TLD client is decisive, values the “why” behind the “what,” communicates openly, and trusts the design process.
They understand that quality takes time and are willing to invest in excellence.
So, when Sarah from Two Fresh reached out with an offer to animate our logo free of charge in return for a mention on our website, I thought, why not? I liked the idea and it was an opportunity to see if their approach resonated with our own philosophy.
Just as we believe in the iterative nature of design at TLD, Two Fresh was dedicated to working on the output until it was perfect.
This dedication to client happiness and their willingness to refine their work until it meets the client’s vision deeply aligns with how we operate. They didn’t just present a design and walk away; they dealt with my picky nature, ensuring the final deliverable was to my liking!
Why do we need an animating logo – or “ident”?
An “animating logo,” also called an “ident,” transforms a static brand mark into a dynamic visual experience. These short, moving pieces capture attention and convey brand personality, perfect for video intros/outros, websites, social media, and presentations.
We actually have an Ident already, which we’ve been using since 2017. But it’s a long time ago, so I thought let’s try Sarah’s version! Here’s the final result!
Two Fresh, like us, are London-based but they mainly do video production. Far more than animating logos, they have a team of seasoned producers, animators, and filmmakers, prioritising storytelling to connect clients with their audiences.
Their iterative process, like TLD’s, ensures client satisfaction through refinement.
As a perpetually curious person I also did a Q+A with Sarah – here is our interview with her answers below:
TLD: Who are you and what is it you do?
Sarah: Two Fresh is an award-winning London-based video production company. At the core of our mission lies the art of storytelling; we are driven by the narrative, weaving it seamlessly into everything we create. We craft content that breathes life into our clients’ objectives, forging a deep and resonant connection with their audiences.
TLD: Who founded the businesses and when?
Sarah: Our company founders are Andreas Tokkallos and Cey Sesiguzel – two school friends with a love for film and storytelling. In 2009 they decided to launch Two Fresh Productions, and they’ve been making content together ever since!
TLD: What is your big “WHY”
Sarah: We are a team of passionate creatives with a deep appreciation for the realms of film, digital, web, design, and animation. Our unique talent lies in seamlessly combining these disciplines to produce captivating and immersive media experiences. Why? Because we care about the art of content creation, and we love the challenge of bringing a vision to life!
TLD: What’s the story of your business so far?
Sarah: We started out as two friends who love film. We quickly outgrew our humble office. We navigated the pandemic by introducing animation to our service offering – a format that allowed us to continue storytelling whilst in lock down. We’ve since expanded our team, had weddings, even welcomed babies. In 2024 we launched our award-winning original feature documentary film The Divided Island‘ in UK cinemas, and now streaming on Prime Video. From the success of our film, in 2025 we launched Two Fresh Distribution, our sister company focused on the distribution of Greek, Turkish and Cypriot films in the UK.
TLD: Where do you want to take it next?
Sarah: We have big plans! We’re lucky to work with business in many sectors, and of all sizes. We enjoy supporting all of our customers, from vodcasts and promos, to animations, TV commercials and launching new films into cinemas. We hope to expand our portfolio with more commercials for household brands and to see Two Fresh Distribution grow with some big box office hits!
TLD: Most memorable projects?
Sarah: Too many to mention, but our work for Lamborghini, Xero, Lenor and Ariel have to be up there. However, for us, we care about the relationships we build brands, for all projects, big and small.
TLD: Tell me about this campaign, why did you offer this to us?
Sarah: We believe in supporting business and building connections! We’ve created hundreds of animated logos over the years! For us, with our trusty team, creating and supplying an animated logo is a fun and straightforward task. An animated logo will provide the customer with a useful asset that they can use across their marketing content and website. For Two Fresh, it allows us to build a new connection that may lead to future opportunities and referrals and expand our network.
TLD: Who else has taken you up on this?
Sarah: We offer this service to businesses from all sectors, from energy and construction, through to data, marketing and health services and more. At Two Fresh, we pride ourselves on our transparency – there’s no hidden catch – so if customers want an animated logo and they’re a business that matches our company values, we’re happy to help!
And here’s the result of the animating logo Two Fresh did for TLD:
My take? It’s interesting to be on the “client side” when usually it’s us taking briefs, doing iterations, etc.
This experience proved to me that prioritising a client’s vision and working collaboratively leads to exceptional outcomes. And, it reinforces our belief in seeking out partners who align with our commitment to excellence for our discerning clients.
I am putting below our original one, so you can see another variation.
