The amazing story of this project starts with Nu Image, a California-based production studio (founded 1992) owned by my dad, Avi Lerner, his brother (my uncle) Danny Lerner, Trevor Short and Danny Dimbort.
Nu Image had already produced more than 60 full feature films in Bulgaria before they bought the Boyana Film Studio in 2005 and renamed it Nu Boyana.
I recently competed in the Key Person of Influence Pitchfest event, and spoke in front of an audience of around 100 people including high profile judges.
I have to say I was very nervous and this was one of my biggest life challenges. It was different from the normal public speaking and presenting I do all the time!
There were 5 judges (Daniel Priestley, Maria Kennedy, Sir Tom Shebbeare, Mike Harris, and Steve Henry) – and you can see the comments from them in this video which makes it even more interesting!.
