I know that what we do at TLD is minor compared with those directly fighting the coronavirus pandemic, especially those on the front line – healthcare heroes, grocery store workers, teachers who are running online classes, and others who keep things running while we’re at home.
Insight, advice, news and chit chat
I don’t like negative stuff generally, and news can stress me out and make me feel helpless. So, I tell myself “it’s not serving me to be so informed – so I should avoid the news!” And this is especially true when it comes to the latest crisis. It’s getting to me and I don’t like it!

My old views
I used to adamantly believe that everyone can learn how to do social media themselves, and should do some of it themselves for at least a month so that they can be more responsible if they outsource it. By doing so, they will be able to understand better what works and what doesn’t. I’d seen so many people hiring in interns and their teenage relatives, and with very little information imparted about their business, handing over the keys and the passwords to their social profiles.
Did you know we actually run social media for clients? Maybe you did, maybe you didn’t but you know now. I thought writing this article would be a useful way to explain what’s involved and why we do things in this particular way. Hope it’s useful, questions and comments are always welcome!
