Content Management Systems

Updating your own website

An important consideration to make when designing your website is how often you are going to need to update your website. It really depends on what type of material you are going to publicize on your website - for instance if it's 'latest news' and 'latest publications' or if you plan to update it weekly, investing in a "Content Management System" (or CMS) would be a suitable for option for you.

You don't need to know HTML!

A Content Management System will let you update different pages and sections of your website without needing to be familiar with anything technical! You or your staff could edit/remove/add/publish content as often as you like without knowing any HTML! All you need is a username and password and around half an hour of on the phone or face to face training.

Top Left Design CMS

Top Left Design has designed an especially easy to use Content Management System which will allow staff to log in and add or edit the content within the different pages of the website.
This is the functionality required but if you require more functionality then this can be upgraded to a full Content Management System which will allow you to change the main navigation links, add new navigation links, and upload images.

Dynamically Updateable News

Via the Content Management System, news items can be added and will be displayed on the homepage. When news reaches its expiry date, then it will be automatically removed from the homepage, but will still be displayed in the "Resource Archive" section
