What do you mean - don't be an egg?

What do we mean - "Don't be an egg"? We know this is distracting you and if you don't get an answer ASAP you may not be able to cope with reading the rest of this newsletter. Although the picture above probably gives a pretty big clue. Well - let's explain anyway. Some of you are already on Twitter - and some of you aren't. Those of you who are may have noticed that the default icon for a new profile is an egg. To change this, just click on "Profile" at the top of your Twitter page - when you are logged in. Then click "edit your profile" - and then click "Profile" there - and then click "Change Image" and browse for a less generic image - a close up picture of your face is best. If you need help - the first 10 people to email us with the subject "I don't want to be an egg!" will get a FREE cropping/changing your profile picture!

Our opening hours - Easter and the Wedding

Tina and Tamlyn Ice Scating

Well it probably hasn't escaped you that we have only got 3 actual working days next week - and during this time the gorgeous girls Tamlyn and Tina (pictured above ice skating) will be manning the London office (possibly balancing the workload extremely competently - as evident above with their ice skating skills) making sure our clients are happy. Amy will be working as well in SA. But Keren is going to be in Scotland and Michael will be in the Lake District.

To be more specific:

  • Friday 22nd April (Good Friday): Closed
  • Monday 25 April (Easter Monday): Closed
  • Tuesday 26 April to Thursday 28th: Open
  • Friday 29th April (The Royal Wedding): Closed

Seminars at 38 Devonshire Street

We are fortunate to have discovered a fantastic seminar venue recently, via an introduction from Margaret Webster. The next seminar will be an overview - "Social media? Can I afford to ignore it?" - and Keren will be speaking with Tamsin Fox Davies. We will be covering blogging, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and Blogging. You can book yourself in here and be sure you let us know by email if you have booked in, as we will be making sure our guests get cupcakes.

Cloud Computing - guest blog post from Francesca Geens

Cloud Computing - guest blog post from Francesca Geens

In our last newsletter - which was all about Blogging - we asked everyone to submit a guest blog post for our blog. If you don't have your own blog yet, it's a great way to crack your blogging knuckles (this is a new phrase, just trying it out). We are extremely pleased to see the result of the first submission since - with the brilliant title "Sunshine on a rainy day: eleven essential questions about cloud computing"

Unicorns and Rainbows - a poem for a competition

Unicorns and Rainbows - a poem for a competition

Michael spotted a Tweet about a poetry competition about Unicorns and Rainbows on Twitter - and sent a tweet to Keren who couldn't quite believe her luck (she loves poems, competitions, unicorns and rainbows!). So Keren wrote a quick poem and posted it online within 30 mins. We hope you like it - please feel free to comment on the blog post.
