Meet the Team

  • Keren Lerner

    Keren Lerner

    Keren Lerner has been running Top Left Design since January 2002. Keren is an experienced designer and an expert on usability and accessibility and using design to communicate clear marketing messages. She also regularly trains fellow business people and budding entrepreneurs in social media (follow her on Twitter here), blogging, the principles of good website design, creating effective email newsletters, and improving their online reputation. Her mission is to "clean up the internet" and empower clients to represent and promote themselves in a way they can be proud of.

  • Amy Senyard

    Amy Senyard

    Amy has been with Top Left Design since December 2007. She has a degree in Graphic Design from TUT in South Africa. Amy works on design, content entry and formatting, keeping our clients’ websites up to date and generally being efficient! She now does this from sunny South Africa, as she has relocated there - but still works just as hard for us and our clients.

  • Tina Webster

    Tina Webster

    Tina joined us at the end of January 2009 and has a degree in illustration from Kingston University. She is a talented designer and project manager and is devoted to great design and customer service. She also has her own illustration blog which she keeps up to date regularly.

  • Michael Hobson

    Michael Hobson

    Michael joined Top Left Design in October 2009 with a degree in Digital Media from London Metropolitan University. It was a unanimous decision to choose Michael after our open day recruitment process and he has an incredible capacity to take on new information quickly. He designs and manages websites, email newsletters and blogs for our clients. He is active on Twitter and writes regularly for our blog.

  • Tamlyn Hall

    Tamlyn Hall

    Another South African, Tamlyn already did quite a lot of a freelance work for us before joining the team full time in March 2010. She designed our Twitter page as well. She is a master of using Illustrator for drawing and has a strong background in design for print.

  • Susan Hunt

    Susan Hunt

    Susan joined Top Left Design in June 2011 and is responsible for behind the scenes finance and administration. She came to the team with great organizational skills and extensive office management experience and now ensures things run smoothly here so the designers are free to work their creative magic!

  • JP Nothard

    JP Nothard

    JP is originally from South Africa, and joined the team in July 2011. He is a developer and spends his days in the back-end of websites. He enjoys anything that involves HTML, CSS or JavaScript!

  • JP Nothard

    Kevin Plattret

    Kevin is from Dijon, France, and came for a 3 month internship. He liked it so much he decided to move to London. We liked him so much, we decided to hire him - he joined in December 2011. He specialises in Wordpress, Javascript, HTML, and CSS.

  • Nichaela Thompson

    Nichaela Thompson

    Nichaela first came to Top Left Design as an intern for two weeks when she was just 14 years old. After spending a lot of time at Top Left Design helping out during her school holidays she is now a full time member of the team! Nichaela recently passed her A-Levels in English Literature & Language, Media Studies and Graphic Design at St Francis Xavier Sixth Form College. She has a keen eye for attention to detail, and most importantly loves to design!
