Top Left Design – what a place to work! I’ve enjoyed myself so much that I have stayed for 4 years… and counting.
I started working with Keren and Top Left Design back in December 2007 and although I left the UK offices over 2 years ago I am still a proud TLDer.
Keren decided that in light of my 4 year anniversary she would treat me to SPA DAY, and although she couldn’t join me I would be accompanied by her most lovely cousin Gabriella Sholk.
Our Spa Day was at the lovely Cayenne Spa which is part of the Pepper Club Hotel in Cape Town.

The day consisted of a 75 minute Herbal oil massage – I asked for a firm massage thinking the petite massage therapist wouldn’t do much harm – ouch is all I have to say (but in a good way). That was followed by a 30 minute Skin Treatment with Scalp massage and then a choice between a Pedicure or Manicure. I went for a Pedicure, my feet are now very soft.
After all that lady of leisure goodness we went down to the Pepper Club restaurant and had an amazing two course meal.
Gabby started with the Salad Caprice (pictured left), I started with the Pistachio Dressed Scallops (pictured right).
For mains we both had Gnocchi – Gabby’s had an Apple and Creamy Gorgonzola sauce. Mine had Baked Kingklip and Salsa Verdi.

All I can say is Mmm… mmm. What a wonderful way to celebrate 4 years, just wish Keren could have come along.
