Don’t squish them! How to resize images for your blog – using a free tool called “Resizr”

Posted by Keren Lerner

I have been testing some free online tools for resizing images without needing Photoshop. You can watch the screencast and follow along – the website we have been using is Resizr” and you can find it here at this very strange URL
www.esizr.lord-lance.com. This is a very simple tool to use. You just load the image – type in the pixel width you want and then click “Resizr” – so simple!

We like to keep images to be the same width as our blog posts.

There are 3 reasons for this:

  1. This looks neater
  2. It means the images are nice and big and easy to see – makes the posts look so much nicer!
  3. It’s just more professional!

I also go one step further (I was feeling really generous!) and show you how to put the image into a blog post!

Enjoy the screencast!
